Members and visitors to the Royal Golf Club are expected to dress in a manner befitting the surroundings and atmosphere of the Club. Members are responsible for ensuring that children and Guests are correctly dressed at all times.

The following are required standards that must be adhered to, both on the golf course and in the clubhouse.

Gentlemen:
Shirts with collars and sleeves, slacks or golf shorts are considered appropriate attire. Tank tops, tee-shirts, bathing suits, sweat pants, denim clothing, tennis shorts or other athletic shorts are not permitted.

Ladies:
Dresses, skirts, slacks, golf shorts and blouses are considered appropriate attire.  Halter tops, tee-shirts, bathing suits, sweat pants, denim clothing, tennis dresses and athletic shorts are not permitted.

Shoes:
Golf shoes must be worn with “soft spikes.” Training shoes are permitted on the Wee Monty academy course.

Each food and beverage outlet within the facility has its own dress rules regulations. Please refer to the Dining section of this website for further information.

None of the above regulations shall preclude the wearing of National Dress in any area of the Club.

Exceptions to all or any of the above regulations may be made for theme parties or other designated events.

The dress code at the driving range is relaxed – smart denim jeans or shorts and training shoes may be worn.
